I don’t like organising parties and daddykhong does not like paying for grand parties but, as always, we always end up doing what we don’t like doing. Yes, we organised a party to celebrate Shayanne’s 3rd birthday. Only because we had one done for Braedyn when he turned 2. No double-standards in this family
So, in a record quick time of 2 weeks, we confimed our guest list, party venue and everything else.

FB invitation card. Hard copies were printed for the seniors

Superboy Dong Yao, Bryan Schumacher, Wondergirl Jesslyn and Bookworm Jolene

Sean – our photographers’ favourite subject

Jaylen – Shayanne’s favourite cousin – choosing which red party hat to wear

The mad rush for candle-blowing and cake-cutting

Family shot. No, I’m not hinting to daddykhong for #4 – Jolene insisted on being in the photo.

Baby Aerynn. Looks like we will have to organise a party for her too ![]()

A special gift from the balloonist to the birthday girl. A balloon basket filled with all sorts of balloons.
Special thanks to our photographers – Yao Han and Su Chin, and our camera sponsors – Nikon. They do lots of work for dirt-cheap prices! Our appreciation to Alicia and Marmalade Cafe for the great food, decor and organisation.
Hi. I am your silent reader. She looks very mature for a 3 year old. My girl will turn 3 in June but still so baby-ish and still in pampers at night!! I remember you mentioned Shayanne went pampers-less at night when she was around 2??? So good….
Happy 3rd Birthday, Shayanne!
HAhahaha…don’t like, don’t prefer, don’t fancy…BUT still have to do it for the kids… EKkkkkekekeke
i love the picture on her photobook!
happy belated birthday to Shayanne btw

oh yes.. love the pic on her photobook! And happy belated birthday Shayanne!
nice birthday party! my BIL also dun believe in organizing big parties for kids. but since we did 1 for shan leo when he turned 1. we thought it will be fair to do 1 for shan rae too. sadly, shan leo was very jealous about the party and he put on a sour face throughout the party!!!
a very beautiful birthday party!
Har…you took effort to know Shayanne’s classmates? Normally I just dump Philip at the school gate n i go to work. I dont even know who are Philip’s friend in the school….shiaks..next time how to organise parties hor..
Happy Birthday to Shayanne
It’s a small step to knowing your child’s friends and their parents. It’s good to know the people the kids mix with.
Happy Belated Birthday to Shayanne.
For someone who doesn’t like organising parties and doesn’t like paying for grand parties, you have a party like this.
I wonder if both of you like to organise and pay for parties, what kind of parties will be done for your children…
awww she looks like a really big girl now. i know this sounds stoopidly cliche, but i still remember her pictures way back when she was just a little worm. now she looks like a little lady!
happy belated birthday shayanne!
Happy belated birthday
Hi, we did a joint bday celebration for the two kids last year, William turned one and Vic turned 4, at Shang Palace, KL complete with a magician cum balloon artist and Vic’s fav character back then.. a BARNEY mascot. Whoa the price was crazy, and it was like a small wedding dinner… so no more from this year onwards. Haha… pokai
