Braedyn has HFM

Our son always makes us visit the hospital on public holidays. This Labour Day, it’s HFM disease which was confirmed after a long 3 hours at the hospital.

According to the doctor, Shayanne has it as well and in fact, she was the one who had it first and subsequently passed it on to him. Fortunately for us, Shayanne is a tough cookie and we didn’t even know she had HFM disease until the doctor took a look in her throat and said she has a solitary ulcer at the back of her throat.

Braedyn meanwhile is moaning and groaning over a couple of ulcers on his tongue, a sprinkle of bumps on each palm and a couple of red spots on his right sole! According to the doctor, boys are always the ones moaning.

Shayanne is cleared to move around while Braedyn is quarantined at home till Wednesday.

yeah hfm is quite common , sometimes we dun even know we get it. But for the severe case very cham wan. Are u giving him anything for the ulcers? cataflam or aloclair is good for them.
